Will YOU be one of them?

A recent House of Commons Report (High Street Britain 2015) states that 30,000 independent High Street retailers will disappear over the next 6 years due to a lack of passing trade (footfall customers).

As if you needed any more; ... that is both a depressing, and shocking, prediction to all operators of High Street independent shops.

As if ...the Credit Crunch;
... the general lack of confidence in, and from, the Banks;
... the ever increasing cost of employment and government bureaucracy;
... and the forever steepening spiral of demands for rent and rates across the UK marketplace weren't enough to send you into deep despair. The prediction that future shoppers will abandon the High Street, and your expensively enticing window displays, should convince you that now is not the time to entrench your business.

Will you give in, or FIGHT BACK?

The report states that over the next 2-3 years it is going to become even more important than at any time before that small and medium businesses maximise their presence in the wider shopping environment.
Relying on local customers simply isn't going to be sufficient to ensure survival, let alone growth and profitability, in the next couple of years.

You simply must ensure that you 'Maximise your presence'.
You must recognise that your very commercial survival demands that you embrace the new technologies and opportunities inherent in online shopping.
You SIMPLY must compete on a level field with those who are already growing their businesses online.
You now need to 'bite the bullet' and invest in all that technology can offer you in supporting your business and growing your profits.

John Walker, Chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses National Policy unit, recently said:
" ... the onset of an economic downturn, (has meant that) all small firms should look to the internet to maximise their sales and increase efficiency."

This is simply a re-iteration of what we have been advocating for our clients for many years; ... but coupled with the recent Government report, it now becomes an imperative for survival rather than a recommendation of good practice.
The internet is now the first port of call when customers are searching for products and services.
Having a professional online presence is no longer a luxury, ...it's no longer something you might consider some day in the future, ...it's something which is a must have for any business (large, medium, or small) looking to survive the recession and come out of it in a state fit for the future.

Give us a call NOW and we'll work to have you online and growing your business as soon as is practical and possible.

All businesses need Help NOW; ...don't delude yourself into thinking that it won't effect you!
Email or Call us today; ... we have 21 years background in understanding how to position businesses for the future, helping their owners win their unfair share of business.
