What Services are available?
- First Line Telephone, Web, Email support
'First Line' is for those customers who want their staff to have access to both on-line and telephone based support. 'First Line' aims to be the helping hand at the end of the phone or email, advising callers on how to solve and address the problems they are experiencing. This is ideal for those businesses which employ only a few staff and can't afford to have their own dedicated on-site personnel.
- Second Line Technical support
'Second Line' gives you access to advanced technical knowledge and skills. You get the same access points as with 'First Line' but with the addition of experienced technical specialists for those more difficult problems that can't be resolved via telephone or email. If you select 'Second Line' as your support model you automatically get all the benefits of 'First Line' supplemented by automatic escalations if resolution can't be achieved in the time limits of your personal SLA (Service Level Agreement). This is ideal for those businesses which employ upwards of c.15 staff. 'Second Line' can be tailored to include on-site visits and even a rapid response facility for those really difficult and 'must be fixed today' problems.
- DBA (Database Administration) support
'DBA Support' is for those businesses which operate a comprehensive database system. These systems might be running your accounts, payroll, customer relationship tools, ...even your on-line store. 'DBA Support' provides all the highly skilled technical resources needed to ensure that your business-critical database and data-warehousing servers run at peak efficiency. 'DBA Support' can cover from automatic back-up and restore through to load balancing across multiple servers and even data cleansing facilities. When you place your order for 'DBA Support' we will appoint you your very own Service Manager. They will work with you to build the service profile to match exactly what you need; ...no more, and no less. With our 'DBA Support' you pay for only the skills required; ...and in the same way that when you order 'Second Line' you get 'First Line' absolutely Free, ...when you order 'DBA Support' you get both 'First Line' and 'Second Line' also for FREE.
'Targeted Support' is for those customers who operate a specific business software suite, (such as our EPOS suite) and require their staff to have access to detailed technical support relating to the operation and programme of the suite. 'Targeted Support' can be added to any of the other support services on offer; and is often combined with the SmartStuf Software Development services which allow the business tools to be fine tuned to your particular business needs.
- N&T Networking and Telecoms Support
'N&T Support' is for the those customers who operate a dedicated and extensive IT and IS network. Typically this service would be chosen by clients operating networks of more than 40 computers, and who operation Internet, Intranet and perhaps IP-based telecoms systems ('Voice over IP' - VOIP).
'N&T Support' can be combined with any of our other services, and may be available as a single service.
All SmartStuf Data Systemstm are available as remote or on-site services; and most are also available as remote services with on site responses.
